Droid Incredible data?

I have a Droid Incredible that I just bought. I chose to go with the 150Mb plan since I work all day and wont use it as much. I downloaded an app to monitor my data usage (netcounter). It has shown that i used 99 megabytes since last night sometime. I have only had the phone 5 days, so this seemed a bit ridiculous to me. If I go onto myverizon it shows that there is only 77Mb used. I got a text message saying that I had reached my limit, however neither one of my counters shows that I have. I am wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or what I can do to solve this.|||why dont you ask in the cell phone section.

Porting Verizon to Straight Talk help!?

Okay, I recently purchased a Straight Talk prepaid phone, and I requested online to have my Verizon phone number transferred to my Straight Talk phone. ST asked for my account number, and I spent forever looking for it on MyVerizon, and could not find it anywhere. Tired of searching, I just put my account security code in instead (it said it needed either an account number or "account service PIN"). I called ST the day after to check the status, and they informed me that the number I entered online was not the same as the one I told them on the phone, but I got that sorted out (I hope). It's been two days, and I called Verizon today to find out my account number, just out of curiosity. I'm worried that my port might not be completed due to me entering something that was not my account number. What should I do? Is there any way to start the process over again? I really don't want to deal with their over-the-phone service again, because it was extremely difficult to communicate with the rep. Any ideas?|||Yeah number porting can be a nightmare. You have to contact Straight Talk since your cell phone number from Verizon was transfer to them. Verizon no longer has your number and so there is no sense of calling them. Contact straight talk and ask the status of your phone number. It should not take longer than a day for porting. If it has been three days then something is wrong. You need Straight Talk to give you answers and what is happening with that phone number.

How do I block a number from texting me for free?

I have the LG env3 with Verizon and I've searched and searched and searched how to block a number from texting me and I can't find anything that works. I can't just go to MyVerizon and all that nonsense because it says that my phone number has been blocked from online access? idk. And I don't want to call Verizon if I can help it. Please please please help me! I'm trying to block this guy from texting me because he won't stop texting me and he keeps insulting me! It's beyond annoying and I've had enough.

Thanks in advance!|||Brittany, if you can not access your MyVerizon account, then the only way you will be able to put a stop to these texts is my contacting Verizon Customer Care and requesting assistance from an agent.|||You need to call your phone provider in order to stop the texts and report abuse to your phone company so they can take appropriate actions.

Prepaid phone question: Samsung Smooth on verizon network HURRY!?

OK, i activated my phone, then after a month, i put more money on it, then it ran out. For about 3 months. Now, i want to reactivate it and when i go to My Verizon by pressing the up key, it says: "invalid host specified" and it won't let me on. What do i do? can i go somewhere else (verizonwireless.com/myverizon is being a terd. I tried to make an account, but it has to text me for that, and my phone is unactivated, so i can't recieve it!) grrrr! please help! :(|||how about dialing *611? I think that will work. Otherwise, take it into the Verizon store and they will help you get set back up.

Verizon Minute Overages?

I have a Family Plan on Verizon that has 700 minutes total.

I recieved a text message saying

"UR on track 2 incur overage charges for Minute, Data, or Message usage. Dial MIN %26amp;#DATA to check usage or review usage at MyVerizon.com"

With the 700 minute plan, it was my assumption that offpeak/night calling was free, as was IN Calling at anytime.

When I called MIN, it presented me with the following information:

PM Peak: 55 minutes

OffPeak/Nights:337 Minutes

Peak IN-Calling: 35 Minutes

OffPeak IN-Calling: 56 Minutes

Using my assumption that Night/IN calling is free, I would conclude I have only used 55 minutes of my plan.

The information continues:

Familyshare total estimate

PM Peak: 628 Minutes

So, my question is, is the text warning me about the fact that I'm already over my limit (I have used 483 minutes total, and that paired with the total family plan totals well over 1,000), or is it warning me that as a whole, our family might go over our alotted 700 minutes, as we are at 628/700 minutes (using my assumption about IN and Night calling being fee) and there are 8 days remaining before our bill?

tl;dr: Do IN-calling/OffPeak minutes count towards the minutes you buy monthly?|||That means that of the 700 minutes you have used only 55 minutes, however, the other people on your plan have use some 573 bringing your shared minutes to 628 meaning that there is only 72 minutes to go. Verizon does not charge you for the off peak nights or in calling. I don't understand exactly why they inform you of all that.

That is the standard style text message each Verizon customer receives upon checking their minutes.

Is there a way to see the inbound/outbound numbers that have been text from my Verizon Wireless phone, online?

I'm on my online account "myverizon" and I am viewing all of my detailed information such as recent calls and text messages. It gives me the number and time when I place a phone call, but when a text message is sent or received it says only SMS - Outbound or SMS - Inbound as well as the date it was sent on. What I'm asking is, is there a way to see the time and the phone number that these texts were sent/received from? I'm not trying to view the actual text message (because I know you can't do that), I just want the to and from numbers. Oh %26amp; I already tried going %26amp; using the messaging tab %26amp; using it from there so no the online to/from tool does not work. Thank You|||no, there isn't a way you can see the numbers online

mostly all phones show the number that you got a text from, so if you look at the numbers, and then there area codes, then you can tell if it's inbound or outbound

Another way that you check if it is inbound or outbound, is that you can call Verizon and then ask them to tell you the numbers that are inbound/outbound.

I got a new phone in the mial but dont know how to activate it.?

my old env2 doesnt work right so i got a new one in the mail today. im following the directions in the book which say to go to verizonwireless.com/myverizon and log in. which i did. then it tells me to go to my phone and lick on activate phone. and i did that too. then it says something about replacement equiptment and i cant find that. and its saying that when i put my ESN code in its wrong. but its not. can someone please help me because i need my new phone activated and it wont let me do it.|||Why don't you try to remove the battery, wait for a minute and follow the instructions once again. If it doesn't work, call Verizon, they will be able to help you, that's there job. Good luck!|||Lick? lolz i had to say that um idk when they write those things they normally skip steps so you have to kinda guess. is there anything about phones or addin a phone try following that if u can.
