What are the pros and cons of using ssuite rather than googledocs?

I find google docs useful as a free altenative to microsoft office. Are there advantages to using ssuite instead. Are both secure and is either one more user friendly or more reliable?|||Al tough google docs is free it is an online Application that saves the documents online rather then locally,having to download them later.This is a major problem since you can always loose your online connection and also the files saved online are also subject to data losses caused by malfunctioning servers due to all kinds off reasons from hardware reasons to hacking reasons :). The pro would be that you have acces to your files every ware you have internet acces.And about privacy , well as long you are online you have none no matter what Application you use because always is someone watching to steal your data,your ideas ,etc. So for security reasons you should choose a local suite on a offline pc, preferable on a linux environment...
