Would a new version powerpoint work on a old version computer?

I am working on a powerpoint for school on googledocs

and since it doesnt have many options to make the powerpoint nicer i was wondering if i used my powerpoint 2007 from my computer

and then add it to the usb and use it and present it through my teachers computer

would it still work if my teacher has a powerpoint of like a 2004 version or whatevr|||No, it wont....! If you save it the usual way, it is saved as the latest form, .pptx ..... The old version of power point cant open this, it can open only.ppt presentations...

Solution is to save your presentation as an power point 98-2003 presentation... Go to save as, there is an option for that... Save it in 98-2003 form and it will certainly work....

To make your school pc be able to run the new format ppts, install power point Viewer 2007 .... Download from...

Bye...!|||yeah it does, but it will only work on Microsoft Office not like Open Office, Writer, or any other program so like u have microsoft office any year it will only work on microsoft office|||Yes it would.

Bear in mind that todays software is alot more resource gobbling than the old stuff, so check the minimum requirements before you install!|||Yes, it will work. Don't worry.
