Do you have to pay to play games on yahoo now? =(?
Do you have to pay and download games now? I used to love playing spades, scrabble and poppit. Now everything prompts me to pay for the game. Where can I play games online for free?|||not sure

How do I turn the game sounds on or off?

Why won't most games on Pogo not load for me on my Mac (OS X Lion)?
most games on pogo open up in a new window, say "now loading bingo luao" or "now loading crossword cove" and then the window crashes and just disappears. this has been happening for some games before i got lion, but now that i upgraded to it, even more games don't work. i updated java, because games like poppit and battleship work. what can i do?|||Hi, I'm definitely not a tech person, but I worked on fixing this problem for myself on and off over the weekend. I downloaded Java for Mac 10.7........that alone didn't fix things. But then I went to Utilities on my Macbook and looked at Java preferences....there was a box to check which said "enable" so I checked it, then went to Pogo, it now works and all games load for me. Can anyone recommend some Game Boy Advance games?
I have a 6-year-old and 2 7-year-olds. All girls. They love games on my phone like Poppit, Brick Breaker, and Bejeweled. They also love racing games. I am trying to come up with some titles before the holidays.

How do I unfreeze a o game on my iPod touch?

This question is for people with Java and a virus?
Has anyone had any problems with Java and a virus of some sort in the Java update? It pops up as Error Correct, and looks like it is from Internet Explorer and wants to install itself to correct errors. I cannot seem to get rid of it. I uninstalled Java and re-installed Java, hoping it would go away, but it keeps popping up in various forms. I am stumped as to how to get rid of it. I googled "error correct", and had my brother who is pretty computer savy look at it, and he is stumped as to how to get rid of it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't think that Poppit is one of the exclusive games. My sister uses Pogo.com but is not a member. I am a member, but we both play Poppit. I suggest clearing your cache and restarting your computer. That usually works for me.|||poppit is a club pogo exclusive, so if your not a member of club pogo, you can't play. get a friend to give you a guest pass or subscribe but its like 30-some dollars for 1 year. I guess its worth it if you have the money though. I play on pogo very frequently.

I know what you have to do to win. What is the best way TO win? Start at top? Bottom? Left? Right? Colors? What do u find best?|||start at the bottom. i always start on the bottom left but i dont think it really matters. you jus kinda have to look at the top while poppin from the bottom to see if you can pop one up top to make a pop at the bottom. i dunno its complicating. lol. good luck. =).|||I personally think that it's really random. I usually try to group some like colors as much as possible, and achieve a super pop. That doesn't always work though. I have found that I have to attend to the left and right sides equally and not neglect them.

On pogo.com in the game poppit can you pop the super pop balloon?
i dont understand. the little pin thing doesnt do anything. right clicking doesnt do anything. but after you will even if it showed the super pop balloon you dont get super pop points. im confused|||The super pop balloon shows up when you have popped several ballons at one time. How do you get & keep the Black Poppit in LBP?
Well, I was playing LBP with my cousin when all of a sudden, he came out of the Spawn Checkpoint with a Black Poppit. This made us wonder. What did he do to get it %26amp; how do you get it?|||You have to go through simple glitch that has to do with 2 controllers in LBP (Google or Yahoo it), but you cannot keep the black popit.

I own both a spool and popit and i am trying to figure out how they work. :D|||Poppet-valve-based electropneumatic markers are very similar to mechanical blowback markers in that they feature a stacked-tube construction, built around a poppet valve, that is opened when struck by a force. I've bought the game and haven't played in awhile. The game starts fine. It update and I play fine so when the game it tells me to purchase it to continue getting badges.

My parents and school know Im sucidal again, what do I do?
so Im in the 11th grade and Ive struggled with depression and suicide (tried to overdose and Ive slit my throat, but i didnt puncture my jugular or corroded arteries i ust drew a lot of blood) and after that I was hospitalized and put on prozac which makes me feel hazy and I stopped taking it. After I got out the hospital, I felt better but after a couple of weeks I started slipping back into feel depressed and all I thought about was dying. I didn't tell my parents or therapist because they'd send me back to the hospital and I absolutely hated it
And today my school called with concerns about a short story I wrote about a kid who murders kids in his class and than commits suicide. I only wrote it because I had done a project on school shootings and I felt like writing a story about it. and that caused my parents to look through my computer and they found my journal, which is where I mostly talked about how much I hated myself and how I want to die and pictures of people killing themselves and emails from a googledocs group I oined called suicide-methods, and they confronted me about it and said I need help, but I really cant go back to a hospital and I Cant be on meds I feel like everything is crumbling around me and Im powerless to stop it. I feel so sad anxious right now I dont know what to do|||Why dont u try to take the help that is being offered to u? Trying to avoid ur feelings is impossible and ur only stopping urself from being happy. So many people who want to die have nobody be grateful. Don't think u don't deserve to be happy, u deserve it as much as everyone else does. Don't do anything stupid. U only have one life, live happy and die laughing.|||The most visible thing about sinus is swelling. The following works for simple cold, running nose and strep throat, when the throat is hurting.
The easiest way to control swelling is to give up water and all other liquids for 24 hours. In 24 hours there will be no significant dehydration to cause organ failure. But to be double sure one can stay indoors for 24 hours.
Now if you decided to try it the next problem is that one who is used to drinking water or other liquids feel thirsty quite often. They find it very difficult to manage without water for more than 6 hours. For that follow one of the following routines. The option 1 is better then 2 and 2 is better then 3.
1). Start drinking 1 glass of water 1 hour before each meal. So in all there will be 3 glasses of water in 24 hours. Give up all other liquids. After 3-4 days this will help u to stay without water for 24 hours or more.
2). Start drinking 2 glasses of water with 1/2 spoon of salt 1 hour before each meal. (Those with very high blood pressure - may do so at their own risks. But others who do not suffer from very high blood pressure may do so by taking their blood pressure every day). After 4-5 days you can stay without water for 24 hours or more without water and other liquids.
3). First thing in the morning drink tea (on empty stomach). It should be normal tea not too strong nor too light. One should not take anything with tea. No water or anything before or after tea for atleast 2 hour. Tea on empty stomach leaves a bitter taste in mouth. Resist drinking water or any other liquid for next 3-4 hours. After this the bitter taste will be gone. AFter this there will be no thirst signals. For the next 48 hours there will be enough fluid in your mouth and food pipe. You can eat your normal meals minus any liquids for next 24 hours. This will resolve all health issues including poor digestion.
In 24 hours the reduction in the fluids will be about 3 litres or about 5% of the total body weight of a normal adult.
Never the swelling due to sinus or cold and cough is more than 5% of the body volume.
During this period of 24 hours the lose of water from the body does not reduce even by 1% to offset reduced water intake.
The reduction in loss of body water thru urine or sweating starts after 48 hours in most of people. But to be on safe side giving up water and liquids for 24 hours will do the trick.
The reduced swelling will give immediate relief from pain. It will make is much more easier to eliminate the cough thru nose without any pain.
That will also improve the blood acid levels by about 10%. This makes changes at the cell level as well. Blood acid levels are the first line of defense against the infections.
So swelling gone, pain gone, cough moving out, infections taken care of. Now what remains in the body for the next change of season time. Obviously nothing.
So it has already given u long term relief from sinus. But in some cases one may get sinus during next change of season and may have to do this again. The reason is during change of season the body must adjust the water that is stored in the body. Due to some cell level changes the ability of the body to bring those changes is lost. Web Design HTML CSS Javascript Major favor/help?!?!?!?
I know that no one in the world would spend this much time and effort for a simpleton like me and that I am throwing a hail mary by pleading this, but here goes...
Would YOU like to teach ME intermediate WebDesign over something like email or even GoogleDocs or Skype? But before you close this page, please consider the rest. :)
I have been learning XHTML for the past couple of months on various websites and I have a pretty good foundation in that area, but CSS tutorials online aren't quite the same. And after taking a brief look at the JavaScript lessons, I knew there was no way in the heebeejeebees that I would be able to learn that without a mentor.
Luckily, I have been taking Computer Science courses at my high school, but I only know Java, not JavaScript, and my school does not offer any sort of webdesign class. I like to think of myself as a quick learner and not meaning to brag or anything, but I am not too shabby of a student myself in school.
So I very humbly call upon you, if you are able to muster any type of effort, any sort of effort would be greatly greatly appreciated.
And who knows what the opportunities the future may hold for us if we never give the future an opportunity?

MySQL database question!!?
OK - I'm building a website at the moment, and I want it to send the info to a MySQL database (you get 10 from GoDaddy), but (and this is probably a stupid question, because this the first ever time I've tried this), I don't have any database software onmy PC - I don't have Access.
Can you tell me if I need one, or is the database online? Like GoogleDocs, but not?
I don't think I'm very good at explaining so: Is the MySQL database with all of the data, accessed on the internet?
Please help!|||Most administration menu's ive used contain phpMyAdmin. I think godaddy uses cPanel for all it's user's admin. You should have been given a URL you can visit to access yours - if not 9 times out of 10 you can get to it by visiting:
yourdomain.com/cpanel
Once your in this menu click "MySQL Databases".
This screen allows you to create a new database, a new database user and then assign the user to a specific database (you need to do this).
At the bottom of that page you can also click "phpMyAdmin", which will open the database administration panel. The options on this screen allow you to setup tables and column/fields to store your data.
Once you have a database setup you need some server-side software that can handle data you wish to store/retrieve (PHP recommended). Through this you can connect to your database with your username and password and run queries using PHPs mysql functionality.

Of course all this has assumed you know a little about server-side scripting, databases and how to structure them and their queries?
If not you need to read up on some php/mysql tutorials (or get someone else to do it) - theres too much information to even give a "general" outline on the whole process in this answer -of course if you get stuck on something specifically you can always ask another question :-)

Excel 2003, delete columns?
Hi I want to make a sheet of data but I only want a limited # of columns but I am having problems
This is used on Excel 2003
My problem is, I only want to show 40 columns so i do the Shift + CTR + arrow key to highlight the remaining columns and I try to delete them but this error comes up and says "Cannot Shift Objects Off Sheet". So I try using the hotkeys to highlight the other columns and try to resize them and hide but then I get the same error. I try to highlight the columns again and I clicked clear contents and tried to resize/hide/delete but I continue to get the same error. Now I try to open a new spreadsheet and try to same thing and it works but it doesn't work on the spreadsheet I'm using. And I cant copy and paste since I need to have certain column sizes on some of them and it takes too long to do.
Also, the spreadsheet I'm trying to fix was made on GoogleDocs and later downloaded to finalize on Excel and I cant hide or delete the remaining columns but on a new spreadsheet I can resize/delete/hide rows.|||may be :
there are obejcts (shape, clipart, pictures) in the range of columns you want to delete.
try to move / delete the objects first|||Maybe this,
On the left side are the numbers, so the row that would want to delete, hover your mouse over the actual number of the column and right click, you should get a list of actions, there should be one that say dealt or remove. Try that and see if that works.

Will deleting my Gmail account also delete my Google account?

Quick question for someone who knows Google well. I created a Gmail address by mistake on my Google Account and it has now binded itself to my Google Account, it has become my login, my username and I regret making it without knowing it will not only become primary but will take over my account.
I would like to use my current @Gmail.com address with Google, not this other @Gmail.com account. I attempted to change my primary mail to a new @Gmail account but it won't let me.
My question is if I have an XYZ@Gmail.com account, how do I change it to my already registered ZYX@Gmail.com account without it killing my Google Account?? It's driving me crazy not being able to do this.
Also, if it isn't possible, if I choose to permanantly remove the @Gmail service, will my Google Account (Including GoogleDocs which I use the most) still remain intact and be ok?
I just really hate this gmail address that was created by mistake, I'd really like to replace it, or remove it; without my Google account breaking.

What is the best CRM Lite program for Mac?
I have a small but active business selling virtual goods online. I am having a hard time finding a good CRM program for Mac. I'm using google spreadsheet right now, but it's not really designed to also manage a customer database, and I would like to be doing that. Something like Salesforce is WAY too much for me, as I don't have leads to follow or vendors to track.
Basically, I need to manage three sets of data in tandem: Customers, Sales, and Inventory Files. I need them all to be customizable because the data I collect is not really traditional. (For instance, I never get customer home addresses, because I do not need them.)
Is there some kind of simple program for Mac that does this? Just a tiny step above Googledocs? I don't want to spend $300 or whatever it is for filemaker or bento and then find out that they're overkill for my needs.

Please Help! Google Docs Bullet List indenting everything.?
GoogleDocs has decided to bullet all of my work. I would like the have the following format:
A [nonbulleted]. Question?
*[bullet] Answer.
But GoogleDocs has bulleted everything without placing a bullet (indenting everything). Trying to depress the bullet list button only succeeds in adding a bullet to the front of the question's letter. Trying the decrease indent and remove formating buttons do not do anything. The entire document following the falsely bulleted question is bulleted like the falsely bulleted question. How can I undo the indent (can't press undo). I didn't indent it like so; it opened like this when I opened it today, although it wasn't like this originally.

Trying to depress the bullet list button only succeeds in adding a bullet to the front of the question's letter. Trying the decrease indent and remove formating buttons do not do anything. The entire document following the falsely bulleted question is bulleted like the falsely bulleted question. How can I undo the indent (can't press undo). I didn't indent it like so; it opened like this when I opened it today, although it wasn't like this originally.

Word processor for G1? EVER?
I know that there is an update for G1 coming in January ( http://www.googleandblog.com/htc-g1-goog鈥?/a> ), which sounds like an AWESOME upgrade, but it makes no mention of a word processor yet..?? I'm not really a techie so I'm not sure if I'm reading everything about it right.
Anybody hear/see anything else regarding even just a word processing app in the Market..??

Posting/sharing/syncing a file online?
I have an excel file that I want to share with a few people. I will be updating this file over time. Is it possible to upload and share the file and keep it synced with the file on my hard drive without having to upload it over and over? I've already tried googledocs, and the file is not playing nice (I'm assuming there is a formula that googledocs doesn't like). Google-Docs Contacts?
I just got a googledocs account for school but I don't have any idea how to use it. But, i'll figure that out, but a piece of my homework assignment is to put all of my classmates googledoc emails into my contacts... something I can't seem to figure out how to do... If you could tell me in simple step by step fashion, it would be very appreciated. I'm pretty much technologically deficient... so any dumbing down would be extremely helpful... haha.|||ok, the easiest way to work with your contacts is by exporting the data set from google mail.
So, create on complete contact (I suggest for yourself) and save it in a group called Homework.
Then Export that group to your desktop and then upload that file into your google docs. (You might have to try it with the various types of files until you find the one that google docs can read easily.)

If by chance you are referring to Malwarebytes' go to all programs and go to the Malwarebytes' folder and click to expand. Right click on the Mbam file with the red and white icon and click rename. Rename it to RjT234dfIN.exe and then try to execute the program, double click

Googledocs not uploading powerpoint slides...?
Hello, I was trying to "Import" my powerpoint slides, but everytime I try, it says "Upload failed".
I have saved it in the .ppt and .pps as requested, but it still won't upload!
Has anyone had this issue before? If so, how was it resolved?|||I tried searching Google's help for what to do about this problem, and came up empty. The best I can suggest is an alternative that might work better, since it is from Microsoft.

What is a good, preferably free, Office Suite for the Ipod Touch?
I don't own an iPod Touch yet, but I'm particularly interested in a portable Office suite that can open, edit, and save Microsoft Office 2007 Documents, Spreadsheets, and Presentations without requiring a constant internet connection, such as GoogleDocs. Otherwise, I think that I may just purchase a Nokia N800 Internet Tablet.|||There is an office suite for iPod Touch, QuickOffice. It is pretty good reviews and you can edit documents offline.

I find google docs useful as a free altenative to microsoft office. Are there advantages to using ssuite instead. Googledocs: How to get rid of the white space under document?
When viewing a file I've created in google docs there's a big white space under the document that takes up 1/3 of the screen and makes viewing more than a part of the document tricky. Is there any way to reduce or get rid of this white space?

now prnt scr captures the screen into what is called the clipboard
when I see something I want to capture and clean up, as your query suggests,
i do a prnt scr, open photofiltre and go to edit, paste as a new image. then I crop the picture taking out the white space and the image is saves as whatever format you pick,
it is a very simple process and I do it constantly.
In a further note., there is a freeware called multiscreen dump terrific. herein you can capture many screens and they are all saved as JPG files.

How do I put text and an image on the same line in OpenOffice or GoogleDocs?
I'm trying to place an image on the same line as some text but when I move the image it realigns the text to a separate line and I can't get them on the same exact line, or to place the text next to the image. okay so last monday my sons phone disapeared after he woke up from a nap. He woke up at 9 pm and starrted searching for his phone...we thought he placed it somewhere and he forgot, but 2 days ago he called it nd it was on after bieng "dead" for a couple of days...I looked on the myverizon site, and showed my daughters freind was to text to from his phone...all week since last saturday she has spend anight...so once my daughter and her freind went to the park I searched her backpack and found it....form the info off the internet she used about 50k info of internet (idk what that means)...it didnt charge anything because there is unlimited plan on it...
I didn't tell here I found out, but planning to tel my daughter tomarrow.

Droid Incredible data?
I have a Droid Incredible that I just bought. I chose to go with the 150Mb plan since I work all day and wont use it as much. I downloaded an app to monitor my data usage (netcounter). It has shown that i used 99 megabytes since last night sometime. I have only had the phone 5 days, so this seemed a bit ridiculous to me. If I go onto myverizon it shows that there is only 77Mb used. I got a text message saying that I had reached my limit, however neither one of my counters shows that I have. I am wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or what I can do to solve this.|||why dont you ask in the cell phone section.

Porting Verizon to Straight Talk help!?
Okay, I recently purchased a Straight Talk prepaid phone, and I requested online to have my Verizon phone number transferred to my Straight Talk phone. ST asked for my account number, and I spent forever looking for it on MyVerizon, and could not find it anywhere. Tired of searching, I just put my account security code in instead (it said it needed either an account number or "account service PIN"). I called ST the day after to check the status, and they informed me that the number I entered online was not the same as the one I told them on the phone, but I got that sorted out (I hope). It's been two days, and I called Verizon today to find out my account number, just out of curiosity. I'm worried that my port might not be completed due to me entering something that was not my account number. What should I do? Is there any way to start the process over again? I really don't want to deal with their over-the-phone service again, because it was extremely difficult to communicate with the rep. Any ideas?|||Yeah number porting can be a nightmare. You have to contact Straight Talk since your cell phone number from Verizon was transfer to them. Verizon no longer has your number and so there is no sense of calling them. Contact straight talk and ask the status of your phone number. It should not take longer than a day for porting. If it has been three days then something is wrong. You need Straight Talk to give you answers and what is happening with that phone number.
How do I block a number from texting me for free?
I have the LG env3 with Verizon and I've searched and searched and searched how to block a number from texting me and I can't find anything that works. I can't just go to MyVerizon and all that nonsense because it says that my phone number has been blocked from online access? idk. And I don't want to call Verizon if I can help it. Prepaid phone question: Samsung Smooth on verizon network HURRY!?
OK, i activated my phone, then after a month, i put more money on it, then it ran out. For about 3 months. Now, i want to reactivate it and when i go to My Verizon by pressing the up key, it says: "invalid host specified" and it won't let me on. What do i do? can i go somewhere else (verizonwireless.com/myverizon is being a terd. I have a Family Plan on Verizon that has 700 minutes total.
I recieved a text message saying
"UR on track 2 incur overage charges for Minute, Data, or Message usage. Dial MIN %26amp;#DATA to check usage or review usage at MyVerizon.com"
With the 700 minute plan, it was my assumption that offpeak/night calling was free, as was IN Calling at anytime.
When I called MIN, it presented me with the following information:
PM Peak: 55 minutes
OffPeak/Nights:337 Minutes
Peak IN-Calling: 35 Minutes
OffPeak IN-Calling: 56 Minutes
Using my assumption that Night/IN calling is free, I would conclude I have only used 55 minutes of my plan.
The information continues:
Familyshare total estimate
PM Peak: 628 Minutes
So, my question is, is the text warning me about the fact that I'm already over my limit (I have used 483 minutes total, and that paired with the total family plan totals well over 1,000), or is it warning me that as a whole, our family might go over our alotted 700 minutes, as we are at 628/700 minutes (using my assumption about IN and Night calling being fee) and there are 8 days remaining before our bill?

Is there a way to see the inbound/outbound numbers that have been text from my Verizon Wireless phone, online?
I'm on my online account "myverizon" and I am viewing all of my detailed information such as recent calls and text messages. It gives me the number and time when I place a phone call, but when a text message is sent or received it says only SMS - Outbound or SMS - Inbound as well as the date it was sent on. What I'm asking is, is there a way to see the time and the phone number that these texts were sent/received from? I'm not trying to view the actual text message (because I know you can't do that), I just want the to and from numbers. Oh %26amp; I already tried going %26amp; using the messaging tab %26amp; using it from there so no the online to/from tool does not work.
